Wedding Vibes in Jamaica, Mon
What a wonderful way to celebrate love and enjoy a beautiful vacation in one. For my good friend's wedding, we stayed at the all inclusive Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I've been to Jamaica a few times, but this was my best experience to date. The resort is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. More details about the resort and trip below...
The Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica
Barring the fact that my luggage did not make it to Jamaica with me <insert flaming with anger emoji here> I had a beautiful time at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, adults only resort. The resort is HUGE for starters. There's multiple buildings, entrances and exits, and different wings to the entire resort so you can quite easily get lost inside. However, the outside is beautifully landscaped with a grand staircase leading down from the hotel into the pool area and further down to the beach.
Even though I almost had to attend the wedding without ANY of my own clothes, the staff was very attentive to the fact that I was waiting on luggage to arrive before the wedding, and they treated it like a priority. Like most resorts, there was a dining hall where breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served. It was very nice and clean, plenty of seating and the food was some of the better resort food I've tasted. They also had several gazebos for wedding ceremonies. Some were right on the shore, and others stretched out to sit atop the middle of the water. My bride and groom friends, however, got married on top of the one of the event buildings. You could see the entire ocean from up there and although a bit windy, it was the perfect backdrop for saying "I do".
